Campus Clean up was a great success today. Thank you to the parents, students, grandparents, teachers, and staff who gave of their time to spread a mountain of mulch! They also helped up clean gardens, trim trees, and neaten up the area. Most importantly, they modeled to their children how to take care of their school grounds. Maria Montessori once said, “The child should live in an environment of beauty…” We strive to make that possible with your help.

We Are Ready
Our teachers look forward to meeting their students. Come by and drop off you supplies, meet your teacher, and make sure your paperwork is in for the start of school. The two opportunities are: Wednesday, August 8th from 5-6 pm or Thursday, August 9th from 10-11 am. School begins for grade 1-6 on Friday, August 10th.
Please note this will be a dress down day and NOT an early release day. Kindergartners will come on Friday or Monday for their KLS screening.
Meet Officer Popa our New SRO
Welcome to our school! Meet Officer Popa, he is our new SRO. Each day that our children are in school, this officer will be there to keep them safe, watch over the school, and be available to listen to their concerns. A full time West Melbourne Policeman, he has been in law enforcement for over 6 years. The students are getting to know him more each day.
Officer Popa has a three year old daughter of his own and loves working with kids. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf. When you see him, introduce yourself and let him know how happy we are to have him as one of our team members.

As part of our school family, you are a member of PTO. We will introduce our teachers and SRO, vote on a PTO board, and tell you about volunteering at our school. Childcare is available for children 3 and over.
Families from EHCS and Country Day are invited to participate.
Full-Time Teachers Needed
Educational Horizons Charter School is currently seeking full time teachers for the 2018-19 school year.
FL Certification in either K-6 or PreK-3 is required.
Montessori experience is preferred. We are also accepting applications for part time positions in Art, Music, and PE.
