  • Kindergartners working very hard

Thursday night at Parent Participation night. They each became the “teacher” as they led their parent through their daily lessons. We saw lots of smiles and pride as they shared how hard they work in the classroom.

  • The Brevard Symphony Orchestra Children’s Concert

Grade 5 students were guests to see and hear the Brevard Symphony Orchestra Children’s Concert perform at the King Center.  This year the focus was Symphonic Stories. They listened to colorful and descriptive music written by some of history’s greatest composers.  Some pieces were inspired from literature, folk tales, poetry and personal experiences.

  • A welcomed return!

Students in grades 5 and 6 welcomed back Mr. Jim Kennedy, retired director of Kennedy Space Center.  He graciously shared stories and lessons learned in space that relate to leadership and STEM.  He also visited the science fair projects and congratulated our 1st and 2nd place winners in that class for their hard work and commitment to science.  We look forward to taking 6 students to the district science fair on March 13th  from grades 4, 5, and 6.  Congratulations to Colin, Noah, Lucas, Luke, Anthony and Ethan and best of luck next month.

  • Pajama Day!

Can you think of a better way to end the week than to come to school in your pajamas?  There was such excitement as they participated in their studies in their pj’s!  We even had a state float parade to kick off the day.
